The Mac is unable to connect to the server via TCP/IP and is switching back
to Appletalk. You can open the Chooser and option click the server to
connect immediately via Appletalk and avoid the wait. You may want to have
a look at TCP/IP setting on the Mac and see if they are correct.

Hi, Everytime a Mac tries to connect to a specific server running SFM a window called "Connection Status" comes up and in the window is "Verifying". I have to then wait about 30-40 secs for the window to go away and the Username/Password window to come up. This only happens when connecting to this particular server, this doesn't happen when connecting to any of our other Win2k servers. Any help would be much appreciated.
