Upgrade from OS 9 to OS 10.3 cannot get get IP address from Microsoft DHCP

Hi,

I got a problem on connectivity.
Prior my Mac was operating on OS 9 it was able to get IP from my Microsoft
DHCP,
but the vendor upgrade to OS 10, it seems that it cant get IP from the
Microsoft DHCP?
I tried toggling in the network options with BOOTP and then eventual DHCP
and click apply.
All I get was a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx address. That means no connectivity.
But I was using this network point and it works fine.
Any insights?
