Re: Mac OS 10.2.7 and Server 2003, Connection Keeps Dropping

I have a similar problem with all of the Macs on my Win2003 Svr
connecting through AFP. But I do get an error logged in my Win2003
System Log of a 12061 (timeout) when they are disconnected. All the
Macs are running either OS 10.2.8 or 10.3.2 and on my network there is
no noticable difference in the disconnects between the 2 OS's.
Hopefully you will have better luck with the newer OS. I have
disabled the energy savers and even toyed with the timeout settings on
the WinSvr itself with no change. I have 2 users that may get
disconnected 1-2 times per week but most get disconnected anywhere
from 1-5 times per day. Has anyone tried the ExtremeZ-IP product by
Grouplogic? They claim to be able to eliminate this problem but the
software is a little pricey.
good luck to everyone else out there fighting this.
