i have the same problem...any ideas ?Not that it is much help at this point but I run RocketRaid 454 from Highpoint Technologies & had a drive failure about 1 month after installation. Rebooted and ran on the broken array till the weekend, installed a new drive and told it to rebuild the array. All has been well since. Failure was about 18 months ago. The card was only about $110 at Fry's in So. California while other raid 5 boards were double, or more, the price. BTW I still do regular backups just in case I get into the spot your system has left you. The best hardware and/or software can leave you stranded without warning. I have 5 WD160G's on one array & will be adding 3 Maxtor 300G's for a 2nd array. I also have an 80G drive for C drive so the array is purely data running on W98se without a glitch in server mode. Soon will "upgrade" to W2KPro for software compatibility reasons.
May the force be with you.
