I installed a LG GSA-4120B DVDRAM drive on my W2000 system - the
system recognized, W2K recognized and claimed it was installing drivers
then reboot and the DVDRAM is not there.
The event log says: "following boot-start .or system-start drivers
failed to load: dvdram.'"

I installed the same device on another machine running Windows ME with
no problem. recognizes, runs ...

Anyone have any advice? Since the device is not in Device Manager I
can't remove it.

In the Device Manager, click on "View" and enable "Show Hidden Devices"
and see if that shows your device. If not, you may need to find the
appropriate .inf file in the "Windows\Inf" folder and delete it.
