Hi Alan

    I had a similar problem with Norton Ghost 2003 once i removed the HDD of
the computer connected it to another win 2k box and then went to the
Comupter Management and then rightclicked the New drive and then selected
Mark Partition Active then i reghosted it and then it worked for me i guess
this should help you..
