    Or, if you don't want to open the case, try this:

    Open a command prompt window: Start->Run, type CMD <Enter>
    Type debug <enter>
    You will receive a different prompt, -
    Type d c000:0000 <Enter>
    Read the information from the right column, it will generally tell you what
    the video chipset or card is.
    If you don't see the right information, type d <Enter>
    Repeat until you see the desired information.
    When you have your information, type q <Enter>
    Then type exit <Enter>

    How this works:

    Each time you boot your computer, the information contained in your video
    BIOS is loaded into memory. Debug is displaying the contents of the memory
    range beginning with C000:0000 and continuing on each time you type "d"
    again. You can read any memory range like this, but the range beginning
    with that address is where the video BIOS is commonly loaded.
