    Could somebody help me please?
I have an external screen (Samsung Syncmaster 172v) connected
to my laptop (Dell Inspiron 4000, Windows 2000).

It has been working OK but it does not any more, after I got
a blue screen. I did not write down the message but it was
something about unhandled exception. To start again, I had to
reboot with the bootable system CD. After this, the external
screen does not work any longer.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver without anything
getting better. However, I do not think this is a hardware problem
because when I reboot the system, the screen shows OK for some
seconds just before the login screen.

Any help would bee highly appreciated.
    Anders
