I'm using a Dell PowerEdge 2500SC with Windows 2000 Server SP4.

Whenever I plug any storage device into the USB or Firewire ports, it
starts loading drivers, then blue screens with bugcheck 0x0000000A
(IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL). It will then blue screen during startup as long
as the device remains attached. Removing the device will allow the
machine to boot normally. I have verified that the storage devices work
correctly on other machines.

It would appear to be the Mass Storage driver, but I cannot be sure,
because it happens so quickly, and people get annoyed when I crash the
server during business hours, so I cannot test it much.

I've searched the KB and Google, but cannot find anything relating to this
problem. I'm guessing that the Mass Storage driver has become corrupted,
and should be replaced (off another server, perhaps?)

Any other ideas?
