Dual monitors using (unsupported?) GFX card

Hello all,

I've recently had a lot of hardware donated to me,
including an old Monitor and an SiS6215 Graphics card. It
occured to me that setting up a dual monitor system would
be pretty nifty, so I set to work.

I managed to find a supposedly Win2K compatible driver for
the SiS, but no-one seems to have told the *card* that,
because the driver's refuse to load. (Error code 31.) I'm
sure the card works OK, because it displays a pre-BIOS
splash screen (which is how I found out it was the 6215
model.)

I decided I would just simply install generic VGA drivers
for the card instead, but Win2K doesn't seem to have them
available. A check on the support site suggests that I
bring up the pre-OS boot menu, and choose 'enable VGA
mode', but I don't want a total VGA makeover on my
desktop... my main Geforce card is fine as it is,
thanks... I just want to use Generic VGA for the
(apparently) unsupported SiS card, while leaving my main
display as it is.

Any suggestions on this? is there a reason why my SiS
drivers don't work? Is there a generic VGA Win 2K driver
available I could use?
