Windows Installer problems

Hi,
I've created MSI packages for Adobe Acrobat 7 Reader as well as Java
SE Runtime Environment 1.5.0.11 for deployment via GPSI. The packages
seem to be deploying correctly, and I get full functionality for the
Reader as well as for Java applications. I built both of these MSI's
using Win Install LE's discovery wizard.
For Acrobat:
After I log on, however, and launch Internet Explorer or navigate
through Windows folders (C:, personal drive, etc.) I get a Windows
Installer prompt that indicates "Windows Installer is preparing to
install Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0.8" and then I'm told to "Please wait
while Windows configures Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0.8." This happens
successively until I exit IE. For Firefox, this behavior only occurs
when I attempt to open a .PDF document.
For Java:
The same behavior happens when launching IE or navigating through
Windows folders, except substitute "Java Runtime Environment" wherever
I put Adobe Acrobat Reader in the above paragraph.
I've tried several registry hacks suggested by Appdeploy.com, although
none seem to disable this very annoying behavior.
Any help would be desperately appreciated!
