RE: 2000 policy

Hello Jacquelyn,

Have you checked your DNS settings on the NIC? Does it point to the actual DNS server? Please post an ipconfig /all from your DNS server and your 2000 server.

Best regards

This is the main error I am getting in the Computer Management
Console.

Event ID 1000
Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO. The file must be
present at
the location <>.(). Group policy processing aborted.

On my 2000 server, I can not access the domain. I have 2 DC's that

and it is saying my acess is denied, I don't have permission. I have
been
trying to figure this out for awhile, and I am stuck. The server
looks to be
functioning correctly, but I can't log in even with the domain admin
account
because of the access. I need help!!! Thank you.
