What exactly did you do? Did you make any changes to Local Security Policy?
Is this a new problem? The message you describe means that you do not have
the user right to logon locally. Why do you think you need to logon to a
domain?? Normally the problem can be fixed via another Windows 2000/XP
computer on the domain if you can access the administrator share such as C$
on the locked out computer but I don't know of a utility offhand that will
work on Windows ME. The link below may help as a possibility. An upgrade
install will not fix the problem. A parallel install of the operating
system may be one way to fix the problem or at least to access your
