Do you have roaming profiles setup? If so Make all of the students use the
same profile. ex: \\servername\profiledirectory\profile
log in as someone who uses this profile and make your desktop and start menu
exactly like you want it. Log off of the student so that the profile settings
save and then navigate to the profile directory. Change NTUSER.DAT to
NTUSER.MAN.
This makes the profile a mandatory profile. When students log on (that have
their profile set to this one in AD users and computers) They will see the
desktop and start menu exactly like you set it. The advantage of using the
mandatory profile is that if a student changes the background on the
computer, or the colors, When logging back in none of it will have been saved
and the settings will revert back to the way you originally set them.
