I prefer to do all partition management operations with
the boot disk.

Thank for replying.
So you did a partition resizing before and it when fine? Do I haven't yet
tested Acronis product I want to know if you did it in Windows or an
Acronis boot disk? I read a couple of Acronis forum posts and it seems you
can do it in both ways.

Hi,
I posted yesterday about Partition Magic and the resize of a boot system
partition of a Win2k Server. I did find information about Acronis Disk
Directeor server suite 10 which seems to work no matter what the Raid
tyep is. This server has a 3 disks Raid 5. Is anybody here ever tried
resizing a Win2k boot system using Acronis product? If so, waht the
process OK?
Thanks in advance.
Amiro
Yes to both questions, but I always back up my system first, and
test the backup, before going ahead. Accidents do happen . . .
