Hello rodchar,
The configuration from your netwrok interface card, where you have set the ip address form your workstation. The config you can check with "ipconfig /all" without the quotes in a command window.

Check that DNS is only pointing to the internal DC/DNS server, not to

hey all,
i just built a 2 computer network
pc1 has windows 2000 server (domain controller)
pc2 has xp sp2 on it joined to pc1 domain.
latest updates and patches have been installed.
for some reason it takes a long time (~3 minutes) to login from pc2
into the domain.
any ideas?
