The first thing you do is to visit that Laptop manufacturers site to see if
win2k drivers are avilable, and if the laptop has a sata drive ensure that
raid/sata drivers are avilable, for installation via *floppy*
If they are not, dont try, if they are boot from win2k cd and delete
partitions prior to creating anew and installing

What is the best way to wipe a hard drive, loaded with Vista, clean
so that I can install Windows 2000 on it?? Do I just let the Windows
install disk clean and format it?? Or is there some mystical
hocus-pocus that needs to be performed?? Thanks.
