Sounds like the profile is corrupt. You can use the steps in this article to.
replace the local administrator profile.

You can copy over the items you need from the orphaned profile. Copy the
folder contents not the folders themselves. Use the import function of your
e-mail software (import the *.pst)

About 4 days ago my PC shut down during the day. When it was rebooted we
logged on as administrator, as always, but it was like logging on to a
total
new screen. I did not have any of my documents, my sons i tunes, and when
we
went in to word, excel etc. it said "welcome to" like it was the first
time
we used it. I can find the documents etc. in my computer but when when we
start it is not the same screen as we have had before. It is like a
different user. I hope my description is clear enough for someone to help.
