Is the computer a domain member? Then talk to the admins, if they have implemented
some policies.

All of a sudden my W2k is acting funny. My background is a picture
from a digital folder. When I go to Control Panel - Display, on the
background menu there are no options that I can use. I can change
nothing. All other portions of Display seem to be operable, all except
Background. In addition the icon that were previously to the right of
the Start icon on the screen are gone.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
