Yes, the other machines are Windows 2000. I am not using GPO.
The parameter I'm most interested in is "Success." Will be using
EventCombMT.exe to find all servers and workstations that have been
successfully updated.

GPO? Which parameters are you searching for, the success or failure ones?

Thanks for the quick response, John.
My mistake! Ugh.
I was using .com instead of .cmd
It does work, but the Application Event Log entries are not showing up when
I try it on another machine.
Any ideas on that one??

What .com file are you talking about?

I have created the reg file, vbs file and .com file from the KB 914387. When
I run this on a Windows 2000 server, I get an NTVDM CPU error and the app
stops. The server is patched to Service Pack 4. I have checked all
information on these files.
If I change the .com file to a .bat file, it runs without issue. But, does
not write the events to the Application log saying success or failure.
Any ideas.
