Auto Logoff settings

I'm running Windows 2000 workstations joined to AD through a Windows
2000 server in a lab enivronment. When users logon they use their
domain username/password and a local account is created. I'd like to
use the winexit screen saver to force an auto logoff after a certain
amount of workstation idle time. I've set up a policy that loads the
winexit screen saver for all accounts and prohibits anyone from
modifying it. What I haven't figured out is how to get my preferred
winexit settings to load. In other words, the winexit screensaver
settings remain at their default state (logoff in 5 minutes, 30 second
countdown, etc.). I have different requirements (30 minute logoff,
customized logoff message, etc.). How do I get my preferred
configuration applied to all existing users? I didn't see a policy that
would accomplish this.

I've been able to make this work for all NEW users by copying the
ntuser.dat file from a properly configured user into the Default User
folder. Everything works the way I want it when new users are created.
How do I change the settings for users who already have accounts on the
PC? I don't have access to their passwords so I can't log into their
accounts to change screensaver settings. I've poked around in the
Registry to no avail (but my Registry skills are extremely limited).
Seems to me this should be possible somehow??

Thanks for any help!
Fred
