I'm trying to download Windows Installer 3.0, and having successfully gone through the
validation process...the last step gave me the error message: Validation Incomplete:
Internet connection problem (0x80080293). Of course my internet connection is working
fine!
I have no firewalls except that in my router, and there are no antivirus programs
working in the background.
Also of course, the Microsoft Knowledge Base, and their support web site have not
knowledge or information about this error numbedr (0x80080293).
I'm hoping someone here might shed some light on this for me.
