I have a Win2K server that has started acting up lately. When adding a
user or group to any group on the box, I receive the error, "Class not
registered." But if I connect to the Local Users and Groups through
Computer Management remotely on any other server or machine, I am able
to add users to groups? I have searched for possible solutions to no
avail. If anyone has insight or tips, i would greatly appreciate it.

thanks

it means a dll is'nt registered, does event viewer give an error and any
indication which dll may be missing?

what happens if you run

lusrmgr.msc

from Start > Run ?
