At least one device or service failed during system starup.

Hi guys,

I've just taken over a Windows 2000 server. When the system starts-up it pops
up a message saying "At least one device or service failed during system
startup" I have followed the following steps to try and find the cause:

1. Checked that all services set to start automatically are running, they are
2. Checked that all hardware is installed correctly (even view hidden items
in device manager) No problems
3. Tried to check the event viewer, for further info, but nothing is posted!!!

The server is operating without any problems (2000 with SP4) and I can't
understand what could be the cause of this???

Any ideas?
