The checkbox for user can not change password isn't selected. Could it
be set in the registry somewhere? If so, does anyone know what key it
is?

I have a W2K standalone. I have created a new account that is set up
for the user to change their password when they log on. When the new
user tries to logon it says they have to change their password
(normal). then when they put the new password in a box pops up saying
that they do not have permission to change their password. This
happens even if the new user has full admin rights. This same problem
has actually happened on 4 laptops. Could someone PLEASE help, it's
driving me crazy.
Have a look at the user's profile. There is a tick box there that
prevents the user from changing his password. You can obtain
the same information by typing this command at a Command
Prompt:
net user mprhoades
.
