I really think that you would be better off asking that in the networking group:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.win2000.networking

Not that there are not knowledgeable people here to help you but there are more network savvy guys on the other group and there are all kinds of intricacies when adding subnets and little tricks of the trade might come from the network experts. This could turn out in a rather long discussion.

It's sort of like fishing... as an old timer once told me, "To catch fish you gotta go where the fish are. To know where the fish are you gotta think like a fish." ;-)

(I hope the guys on the networking group don't think that I think of them as fish!)
