Viewing event viewer on a remote computer

Hello friends,
I want to know if I can view Event Viewer on a remote computer
over the internet (the computer I want to connect to
is not on a LAN). I tryed to do this using the DNS name and got
a message that the network path connot be founed.
Can this be don? How?
