Thanks for the link. What if the application is already designed to run as a
service and I want to add it manually so that it runs automatically each time
the system boots up. The installation procedure adds other files that I do
not need to the system and I do not want to run it. I am only interested in
running one particular service. Will the procedure outlined in the document
work as well?
