Hi,

I've got a pretty vague question, but any input would be appreciated. I've
got a wireless computer lab at a school
and the access point and wireless cards are 11mbps 802.11 something. Over
time the download speed has progressively gotten
slower. Now I have 15 laptops which are the wireless nodes and 15 desktops,
the desktops are wired with CAT5 to a switch. Over time the download speed
or connection speed with the laptops have gotten considerable slower. The
desktops have stayed consistant which is a fairly normal download speed. All
laptops are identical to each other. All desktops are identical to each
other, both laptops and desktops have W2K and the most current servicepacks
and updates. I've tried to access infor from the server with just a few
laptops and there still not as fast as the desktops. Now, I understand that
the wireless connection is slower just by nature, I guess my thought is why
over time has it gotten progressively worse. The amount of laptops have not
changed it's always been 15.

Thanks for your time,
Craig
