I checked in Control Panel under Add/Remove Programs and there were all
kinds of junk things loaded so I removed them and now the Autoexec.NT file
stays. I never did the Trend Sysclean and Adaware.

The programs removed:

Active Alert

Golden Retriever Cash Back

Internet Optimizer

Search Relevancy

Software Update Manager

The Bullseye Network

Uninstall 180search Assistant

Windows Adstatus

WSEM Update
