Maybe this will help...

A couple of online virus scans

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Also to repair System Files do this...

Start
Run...
"type" CMD /k <enter>
"type" SFC /SCANNOW <enter>
(may need the OS CD)

also to run CheckDisk

Start
Run...
"type" CMD /k <enter>
"type" CHKDSK /R
"type" "Y" for yes <enter> and reboot
(this will take up to 30 minutes)

if this does not fix your malady, you can perform an Inplace Upgrade

from jan 11. when I try to start win2000 sp4 allways receive message that I
have to insert original disc win2000 because some files are changed by some
other program. When I insert disk everything is OK.
does anyone knows what seems to be the problem.
My symantec antivirus is up to date and can't find any virus. I also tried
with stinger and it is all the same.

Thanks in advance
Aleks
