I have two win2k users, 1 login to a domain and the other simply connects to
the network for printer and Internet access. They both have a printer
configured on their PCs. This Printer is slaved via a parallel cable off of
another win2k PC which that user routinely connects to a domain.

I am sure the user on the PC with the locally-attached printer restarts the
PC from time to time but thats about it. I would expect the printer to
reconnect afterwards but from time to time the other two users have to
reconfigure their printer because it looses connection. Why?

Printer configuration for the network users:
Port: \\frontoffice\LJ5_printer
Model: HP LaserJet 5
