Hi David :-)

I regret that I don't have an answer for you, but, I had the same problem,
and with 3 different Logitech® Cordless Optical Mouse - Silver USB mice,
same model. They each lasted about 4-6 months and no matter what I tried I
could not resolve the problem, not even the Logitech people on the WinME
group could help, which is the only OS I had on the machine at the time.
After the 3 failure I decided to try another model, and they had the little
cordless Click's Logitech® Cordless Click!T Plus Optical Mouse on sale, so I
decided to save some money in case it didn't work either. Well....that was
over a year ago, and it's still working. And, I now have ME, W2k and XP on
my machine on separate drives, and it works just fine with them all.
Perhaps you can try that model and see if you get better results. It seems
to be less 'sophisticated', and more user friendly.

HTH

Jan :)
