bummer...

try
Start
Run...
"type" SFC /SCANNOW /QUIET <enter>

If you're not positive you don't have a bug try this link to run an online scan...
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/
Look under Virus Definitions and do the virus scan
If you should come up with something positive, go to google and type in the bugs
name, go to Symantec or Trend Micro site, get a guide to the cure and do all it says
in that order to rid yourself. If you don't find anything, do this.

Upgrade Install
Probably would be good to do an Inplace Upgrade. Here are links I have.
(Repair Install)

How to Perform an Inplace Upgrade:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=292175

What this does and does not effect:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=306952

How to expand the Boot Partition while performing and Inplace Upgrade:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q289876

Must have Administrator Privileges

After you are through with the Inplace, you will need to reinstall SP4 and
go here to look at all of the Updates after SP4 and only use the ones you
need, like the Security Updates and then if you use foreign languages, you
could install those, but if you don't use any foreign languages, don't
install them. Those just allow foreign hackers to use your updates.

Anyway here is SP4 location(you can d/l the network version, if you may need
to do it again ( won't have to spend the d/l time after (save it in your My
Documents folders, if you choose to do it this way.

SP4

Updates
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/

You can also use the standard Windows Update to look at any updates that you
may miss.

Here is another handy Utility Called Belarc Advisor. www.belarc.com d/l and
install it to get your CD Key Code, all your hardware, all your software,
and much more and it is not invasive at all. and the best part, it is free
for now only for private use.

Hope this doesn't look overwhelming. It is really good information and
straight to the point.

good computing,
:o)

Sorry, but neither suggestions worked. I was able to manually move the font
files in to the windows font folder however they are still not recognized via
word, wordpad, excel, etc...
