Eric,
The RPC (remote procedure call) is a 'service' which may be disabled on your
PC. Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services, scroll down to
"Remote Procedure Call" (RPC), double click. In the middle of the display
dialog look for STARTUP TYPE. If the service is disabled set to 'manual', if
it is set to manual set to 'automatic', You MIGHT have to reboot ... not
sure.
