There were two classes of Itanic OSes under development by MS:
1.) Standard server/workstation/desktop operating systems that
aim at providing the same functionality that W2K3 Server
and XP provide for x86-32 systems.
2.) A clustering OS intended for running, ummm ..., clusters.
The clustering OS development has dropped Itanic. The other
Itanic OSes are alive and well.
