Can anyone help?
I recently purchased a laptop through the company I work for and it came
preloaded with W2k Pro. and ever since it has been impossible to save my
dialup or ADSL passwords. If I try, all that happens is that I get a
password entry that is at least 10 characters long and clearly not mine. I
have tried cancelliung out passwords through both the computer management
module and also directly in the users section. None of this appears to solve
the problem. Curiously, it does not affect the Windows Login screen. Is
this something to do with the registry or is there some hidden utility that
will clear all passwords. My login incidentally has full and unrestricted
access.
