    No, I didn't, it was a fresh install, formated NTFS. I should have
    mensioned it was a D: drive I did this on and not the boot drive.
    Both C: and D: are 60GB Western Digitals. The box that appears has no
    resemblance to Win98's Scan Disk, but is a small box with two check boxes
    and a progress bar that makes three passes called phases. It makes no
    mension of having to reboot or ask to run at next reboot.
