| My question is twofold.
|
| 1) Should I "upgrade" the 2000 machine to XP to be consistent among the
| machines? Or leave the 2000 machine alone as long as it's working for me?
* No, not for this reason alone.
| 2) If I install XP on the 2000 machine, will I lose all applications
| currently installed on that 2000 machine? What about data files (I think
the
| only data files I have on the O/S drive are the Outlook Express files that
I

* An upgrade would preserve your applications and data. Always have on hand
a backup of anything you can't afford to lose.
