Do you have another machine you can copy from? Why do you have "Default
User.WINNT"? Was this a repair install? Does the original (now orphaned)
"\Documents and Settings\Default User" folder still exist and appear intact?
If so you can point the OS back to this one by editing two registry Reg_Sz
string values.
DefaultUserProfile=Default User
ProfilesDirectory=%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
