Re: windows 2000 hangs at logon

I'm having the same problem with several computers. The computer will log in
if you log off and inmediatelly log back in. This brings you to the desktop.
We got hit by a worm a couple of weeks ago. It's likly that your computer is
infected with a worm.
All the computers that were affected were not updated with Microsoft
updates. After installing the updates, it causes the computer to crash (BSOD)
(Running Repair from the CD will sometimes fix the OS. So far I still get rid
of the hour glass hanging even though I updated the computer.
Also, Norton Antivirus 9 is loaded and upadated on the computers.
