hi there everyone. I hope i am on the correct community.
I removed a program called smartstore.biz after copying it onto c.d. Cos i
have never really got to grips with it, but thought i would keep it just in
case. Now when i open a program that was added recently (allweb menus) the
windows installer box pops up saying the network resource is not available
for smartstore.biz my drives goes whhhhrrrr and it is telling me to look in
alternative location.
I tried re-installing smartstore from c.d but to no avail. I removed the
newer program, used ashampoo reg cleaner then reinstalled later program.
Still having same prob. The only thing on help and support i could find was
to look in Log File to Troubleshoot a Windows Installer Application
Installation. But don't know where that is. Cany anyone help. I am using
windows xp home sp2.
-- I contacted manu for allweb menus and they said this:- Initially it seems Windows has somehow changed the location of the executable file (AllWebMenus.exe) and replaced it with the installation file, which has the same filename. Try to move the installation file to a temporary directory (e.g. your Desktop) and initiate setup from there. If needed, remove all previous installations via Control Panel > Add-remove programs TRIED IT DIDN'T WORK. I love wysiwyg
