I run both win2000 and winXP on a Dell Dimension 8100. A while back my PC
stopped going into standby/hibernation on its own (under both OSs). The
screen saver comes on, the monitor shuts off, but the other settings are
ignored (turn off hard disks, system standby, and system hibernates). I
have tried changing the time before these events take place and nothing
seems to work. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks, James
