Norton and Zone Alarm are not exactly always compatible or cooperative
with Windows. When you do updates at Windowsupdate it might be best to
have these apps turned off. And ABSOLUTELY these apps SHOULD NOT run
when you try to apply Service Packs. As for your immediate problem try
reparing Internet Explorer from the control panel add/remove programs
function. If you can't repair IE in the normal fashion then you will
have to try to repair IE manually. Post back if you can't fix it, we'll
dig out into our IE repair command lines.
