I have just recieved an DELL Lattitude D600 imaged with Windows 2000 PRO. I
added software (which is also on my desk PC) and placed short cuts on my
desktop.
The ICONs are there but, superimposed on them are what looks like waste
baskets with wihte on red "UN" on them. They still work as short cuts but
they all look the same. IT techs do not know what the problem is or how to
fix it. But they want to re-image the laptop. I would like to find out what
the problem is, and how to fix it.
Does anyone have any fixes or should I have them re-image.
Thanks,
-- Chuck
