Run
type
gpedit.msc
click OK
<Group Policy Editor opens>
navigate to
User Configuration
Administrative Templates
Windows Components
Internet Explorer
In the right hand pane there are now loads of options to configure to
lock down IE from users
also more Proxy settings at
Computer Configuration
Administrative Templates
Windows Components
Internet Explorer
right hand pane option
"Make proxy settings per machine not per user"
and
User Configuration
Windows Settings
Internet Explorer Maintenance
Connection
right hand pane option
"Proxy Settings"
