Adaptec produces this controller for Dell. Usually it is referred to as a
Dell Perc 2/Si.

In order to upgrade to the latest firmware for the controller, your system
BIOS must be A09 or later. Also, your controller firmware must be 2.6 or
later, before installing version 2.8. You might need to upgrade firmware in
steps to accomplish this.
