Virus, that was my first thought, too, but all machines
have updated virus protection, and I even ran fixblaster
to make sure it wasn't that, which seems to be the root of
all svchost problems, except this one.
I came across an MS KB article about a post sp4 fix for
svchost problems, but you have to call MS to get it, has
anyone tried that?
