I have seen this problem with IP-KVM's. If you access your
servers from one console through a KVM, that's where the
problem could be.
I doubt that this is spyware, as by nature spyware usually
likes to remain "undetected" to collect information about
you. Have you tried checking your system for viruses? If
you don't have antivirus software, try
http://housecall.trendmicro.com
