Hi all. I have a small business client who has a windows 2000 SBS network
with ten workstations. They are currently backing up about 26GB of data to
an IDE array in the server. Their current tape drive is a 4/8Gb dat and is
clearly inadequate. Total disk capacity of the server is around 130Gb and
they have just bought a document management system which will no doubt
increase the backup requirements over the months to come. I have suggested a
160/320GB SDLT solution which is quite expensive and they are balking. Have
any of you got any other ideas? I like the idea of backing up the entire
server to a single tape but maybe this is overkill?
Cheers,
Bill
